Matthews Alive! Festival Sept, 4 - Sept 7, 2009at Stumptown Park, Matthews, NC It’s almost time for Matthews Alive, the community arts and music festival that supports local non-profits.
It takes place in Historic, Downtown Matthews. Stumptown Park & Matthews Community Center.
What can you expect at Matthews Alive?
The festival is a grand four-day family event. Expect to see more than 150 arts and crafts vendors, sponsored by Hendrick Automotive Group, 30 food vendors, one of the largest parades in the Southeast, the festival’s annual quilt show and the Kids Connection interactive area, as well as a fantastic Midway full of games and rides for all ages and 4 Stages of free entertainment all weekend.

The Matthews Alive! Festival is a Labor Day weekend celebration dedicated to the support of local non-profit organizations through music, arts and community involvement.
Hendrick Automotive Group and Hendrickcars.com are the primary sponsor of the Arts & Crafts Area. This Event has the Largest Labor Day Parade in the southeast, each year the event brings over 150,000 visitors from surrounding citys.
