2010 Charlotte Auto Show

The Charlotte International Auto Show is proud to have become the Carolina's leading automotive event. Every year they set the bar higher to create a family show that is entertaining, focusing on the automotive selection process. The 2009 show will fill the Charlotte Convention Center with nearly 280,000 square feet of exhibits and features. It is their goal to present to the Show attendees a window to the automotive world that encompasses every automotive interest.

With over 400 new vehicles on display attendees will get an opportunity to see at what is new and exciting in the automotive world, including a special “green room” and cars depicting the history of the automobile.

Free Buyer's Guide:
How do you compare automobiles on the market? Where do you shop? What are the cars of the future? All attendees of the Charlotte International Auto Show will receive a free Buyer's Guide containing 96 pages of great automobile information about what's new, what's hot and what's coming in the future. Get your copy as you enter the Show.


Nov. 18th from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm
This year marks a new direction for the Auto Show with the first-ever Charity Preview Night on Wednesday evening, 6:30pm-9pm, November 18, 2009. This Preview will give show goers the opportunity to support the Charlotte Rescue Mission while attending one of the largest Auto Shows in the Carolinas. Be the first to view the 2010 models as well as a 'Sneak Peek' of the Hall of Fame (for the first 500 ticket purchasers). Opening night ribbon cutting ceremony with special guest, NASCAR Hall of Fame's Winston Kelley. Larry Sprinkle of WCNC will be emceeing a Live Auction to benefit the Charlotte Rescue Mission. Entertainment will be provided by "THE EMBERS" with refreshments and hors d'oeurves.

The first 500 tickets sold will get a sneak preview of the NASCAR Hall of Fame!


Thursday & Friday (Nov. 19th & 20th) Noon until 10:00 pm
The Charlotte International Auto Show will provide a complimentary lunch for every paying visitor between the hours of 12 Noon and 2PM on Thursday and Friday, November 19th and 20th 2009. Every paid admission will receive a ticket stub good for a hot dog and drink from either of the two concession stands open in exhibit halls A & B. Such visitors may have their hand stamped so they may re-enter the Show after work.


Saturday (Nov. 21st) 10:00 am until 10:00 pm
Marvel Comics super heroes Spider-man and Iron-man will make their appearance at the Auto Show on Saturday and Sunday, November 21st and 22nd. Don't miss this opportunity to meet, visit and have your picture made with your favorite super hero!


Sunday (Nov. 22nd) 10:00 am until 6:00 pm
Families are welcome every day at the Auto Show, but Sunday is SPECIAL.Area mascots - including Carolina Panthers' Sir Purr, Charlotte Bobcats' Rufus,Charlotte Checkers' Chubby and Charlotte Knights' Homer will all be at the Show on Sunday. Again this year Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will visit with children. Special Super Heroes, Spider-man and Iron-man, will be at the show on Sunday also. Entertainment will include live music, face painting and clowns. Children 12 and under will receive a ticket for an hourly drawing for a family four pack of movie entertainment - tickets and concessions - valued at over $50.00.All of this for the price of admission; children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult. Sunday really is a fun family day at the Auto Show.
